Loop Money operates in a competitive fintech landscape where users expect seamless digital transactions and strong brand engagement. However, its interface lacked clarity and ease of use, leading to friction in money-sharing interactions. The project required a fast turnaround to meet product roadmaps, balancing innovation with technical feasibility.

Discovery
Our process began with a thorough review of Loop Money’s user experience. We identified several key usability issues in the app’s flow, which had an impact on its user satisfaction. The user journeys were not as intuitive as they could be, and many screens had accessibility problems that could alienate users.
Navigation wasn’t as intuitive as it could be, making money-sharing interactions cumbersome.
Several accessibility issues affected readability. Issues with colour contrast, typography, and readability hindered inclusivity.
Financial information wasn’t clearly structured, making it harder for users to trust and engage with the app.
The initial scope didn’t include a full branding refresh, but during discovery, we identified accessibility issues with colours and typography affecting readability. Leveraging our strong client relationship, we expanded the project to create a bold, modern, and accessible brand for Loop Money, enhancing usability and ensuring the app is connected with its core audience.
How do we transform Loop Money from a transactional tool into an intuitive, engaging financial experience?



Design & Execution
We introduced engaging illustrations to guide users through the app, simplifying key features and enhancing understanding. The design aimed to create a warm, approachable atmosphere, setting the app apart from traditional financial services and fostering a sense of community rather than a transactional feel.
